Webinar – “Ligas Family Advocate Program: PUNS Know Your Options”

A free, monthly webinar series for families and individuals who have received early notification/were selected for PUNS (Prioritization for Urgency of Need for Services)

The Ligas Family Advocate Program’s monthly webinar series is hosting “PUNS Know Your Options” on Sept. 15 from 12 to 1 p.m.

This webinar series is open to families and individuals who have received early notification about a likely upcoming PUNS selection from the Illinois Division of Developmental Disabilities. Families who were selected from the PUNS list in the summer of 2021 are also welcome.

The webinars focus on several core areas:

• Introduction to the Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services Waiver
• Service and support options after an award of funding
• Preparation needed for upcoming PUNS selection
• Resources to help with planning, including advocacy and education by the Ligas Family Advocate Program at The Arc of Illinois

The webinars are free, but you must register for each event separately.
