The University of Illinois Chicago’s Institute on Disability & Human Development Webinar Series continues with “Let’s Learn About Supportive Decision-Making in Illinois” on Sept. 28 from 12 to 1 p.m.
In February 2022, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed into law the Supported Decision-Making Act.
Krescene Beck and Adam Wiser from the Illinois Self-Advocacy Alliance, Inc., (The Alliance) and Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission Deputy Director Teresa Parks will provide an overview of the legislative background of the Supported Decision-Making Act.
