The Arc of Illinois – Illinois Life Span (ILS) Monthly Lunchtime Webinar is hosting this federal-level legislative update on Oct. 12 from 12 – 1 p.m.

Presenter Nicole Jorwic, Senior Director of Public Policy at The Arc, is an accomplished special education attorney and an advocate for students with disabilities, especially transition-aged youth.

Prior to joining The Arc policy team, Nicole served as Senior Policy Advisor for the state of Illinois. She also has worked for the Institute on Public Policy for People with Disabilities where she assisted the leadership of the state of Illinois in developing public policy-driven best practices in serving individuals with disabilities.

Nicole is also a sibling. Her brother Chris, 31, has autism.
