Webinar – “Know Your PUNS Options”

A free, monthly webinar series to help families and self-advocates who received a 2021 letter of early notification from the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) regarding a likely PUNS (Prioritization of Urgency of Need for Services) selection plan and prepare

Grab a sandwich and join the Arc of Illinois Ligas Family Advocate team via Zoom for “Know Your Options” on Dec. 21 from 12 – 1 p.m.

Each session will provide a presentation and a 30-minute question and answer discussion.

In addition to a short introduction to the Medicaid Home and Community-Based Waiver, topics to be covered include:

• Developmental disability support/service options
• Types of service management
• A review of core resources and support agencies
• Key steps families need to take to prepare to participate in planning

Any family or self-advocate who received a 2021 letter of early notification from DHS regarding a likely PUNS selection in mid-2021 is invited to participate.
