Webinar – “Know Your PUNS Options”

A free, monthly webinar series focusing on PUNS (Prioritization of Urgency of Need for Services) selection to help families and self-advocates plan and prepare

Grab a sandwich and join The Arc of Illinois Ligas Family Advocate Program via Zoom for “Know Your Options” on April 21 from 12 to 1 p.m. This webinar is held on the third Thursday of each month.

Families and self-advocates should join if they received a 2021 letter of early notification from the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) regarding a likely PUNS or were selected from the PUNS list in the summer of 2021.

Webinars will focus on several core areas, including:

• Introduction to the Medicaid Home and Community-Based Waiver
• Service and support options after an award of funding
• Preparation needed for upcoming PUNS selection
• Resources to assist in planning

Each session will provide a presentation and a 30-minute question-and-answer discussion.
