Webinar – “In the Room: Being the Dad”
Fathers of children with rare diseases will discuss their experiences
Being a provider for your family. Being a protector. Being present emotionally. Being your child’s advocate. Being a supporting partner. Maybe being “Mr. Mom.”
Whatever being a dad to a child with serious illness looks like for you, the experience is its own thing for fathers.
The Courage Parents Network is hosting a panel of dads of children living with serious illness to discuss the dad experience.
The webinar is scheduled for 7 p.m. on June 29.
The panel will include Justin Yopp, a clinical psychologist and Program Director for Psycho-oncology at UNC Chapel Hill.
