Join the Illinois School for the Deaf Outreach and Child’s Voice for “IDEA & Advocacy: Protecting the Parent/School Relationship” on Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The virtual training will take place via Webex.
Presenter Andrea Marwah is an IDEA and advocacy expert with the Illinois School for the Deaf Outreach Department. Andrea is the mother of a child who is hearing impaired. She is passionate about educating and providing resources for parents and professionals working with children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
The training will cover:

- Special education rights
- Advocacy and more
Andrea is also a nationally published author on topics surrounding children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
