A free webinar series for parents and health and human service providers on helping our kids after the pandemic

The We are Parents webinar series,  hosted by the McLean County Health Department and Carle,  will kick off with “Helping our Kids After the Pandemic: Tips and Tricks to Keep Calm at Home” on Sept. 23 from 12 to 12:50 p.m.

The pandemic has impacted everyone in some way. Challenges such as isolation, loss of loved ones, school interruptions, financial worries and conflicts with loved ones have led to more mental health issues for adults and children. This series will help parents navigate what they can do to help themselves and their kids in the aftermath.

This first webinar will help participants recognize how the pandemic has affected our relationships and how we can help our children be stronger as we move into the post-pandemic world.

The link will be live at 11:45 a.m. for individuals who want to join early for informal networking with parents and other interested participants.

Register for “Helping our Kids After the Pandemic”. You will receive an email confirmation with the link for the webinar within a week.

Participants may join when they can or leave the webinar as their schedule allows.
