Join The Arc of Illinois’ Illinois Life Span Program and Family-to-Family Health Information Center for “Guardianship and Other Legal Decision-Making Tools” on Feb. 14 from 12 to 1 p.m.
Presenter Sarah Hess is a staff attorney at Legal Council for Health Justice. She will provide an overview of decision-making legal tools for adults with disabilities who are not able to make major life decisions for themselves.
Participants will learn about:
- Adult guardianship
- Powers of attorney for health
- Supported decision-making
- How to decide which options may be helpful
Hess will also discuss how to navigate the court process for adult guardianship.
