A free webinar for parents and caregivers of adults and youths with documented developmental disabilities to learn about free, group respite opportunities throughout the Chicagoland area

The Arc of Illinois Family Support Network is hosting “Explore Free Group Respite” on May 16 from 12 to 1 p.m.

Do you have a loved one living with a documented developmental disability who is not receiving any waiver services?

If so, be sure to join presenter David Pufundt for this webinar exploring Adventures Unlimited Group Respite, a program of Envision Unlimited. This program hosts events all over the Chicagoland area.

Adventures Unlimited is a free state-funded respite program in Illinois that provides engaging programming for participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and respite to caregivers. The program is open to adults and children as young as 4 years old.

The events are two hours long and focus on activities in the areas of:

  • Fitness and physical movement
  • Art
  • Cooking and food preparation
