A free webinar for parents, guardians and professionals to learn how to diagnose vision problems, identify resources and enhance the vision of children with special needs ages 3 to 8

Join the National Center for Children’s Vision and Eye Health Webinar Series on the Vision Health of Children with Special Needs for “Empowering Families for Children’s Vision” on May 12 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

This webinar will help parents, caregivers and individuals who work with preschool and elementary children with special health and learning needs identify problems and enhance vision.

Participants will hear from a parent who will share her experience of having a child with special learning needs and a vision disorder. Presenters will also cover:

  • Working with eye care providers to make an early diagnosis of vision problems
  • Identifying and using community, medical and school resources
  • How to help ensure the best possible vision outcomes
