Webinar – “Educational Surrogate Parent Training”
Free training for Illinois residents interested in becoming an Educational Surrogate Parent for children with disabilities
Would you like to make a difference in the life of a child with a disability?
Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center is hosting “Educational Surrogate Parent Training” on March 24 at 9 a.m.
An Educational Surrogate Parent (ESP) advocates on the student’s behalf in the special education process when a child with disabilities doesn’t have parent/guardian representation and is in the care of the state of Illinois.
Webinar participants will receive ESP training and understand their important role in helping children and youth receive appropriate special education services.
ESP volunteers are needed in all counties of Illinois.
Register for this ESP virtual training on Zoom. If you need help registering, contact Family Matters at (866) 436-7842.
