Webinar – “Digital Literacy: Digital Footprint and Cyber Safety”

Free virtual digital literacy class for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages 18 and older

Join The Arc of Illinois, AT&T and The Arc of the United States for “Digital Literacy: Digital Footprint and Cyber Safety” on May 8 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The Arc has teamed up with AT&T to offer digital literacy classes. The classes are free and open to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages 18 and older and their support person as needed.

This session will explain how you create a “digital footprint” when you use the internet or social media.

Participants will also learn about:

• Things you need to know about your “digital footprint”
• Cyber safety and how to protect yourself from scams
• Safe media use
• How to be a responsible creator of online content
