A free webinar series on the importance, essential elements and processes of Customized Employment (CE) for individuals with developmental disabilities and assuring employment for all

The Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities (ICDD) and training experts from Marc Gold & Associates (MG&A) are hosting the “Customized Employment Webinar Series for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities & Families” on March 15 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. This is the third session in this trio of webinars.

Customized Employment (CE) is a critical concept for assuring employment for all. CE requires learning when a person is at their best and translating that information into an integrated community work environment that matches and meets:

  • The specific abilities of the individual with a significant disability
  • The business needs of the employer

Webinar #3 will build off the overview and fundamental concepts that were discussed in the first two sessions and provide additional key insights for the potential employment seeker and their family on:

  • CE processes, activities and documentation
  • The person-centered planning aspects of CE
  • The important role that families have in the CE process

Register for Webinar #3.  There is no charge for any of the sessions.

The first two webinars are available on the ICDD website at:
