Learn about if COVID-19 is a disability under the ADA, what accommodations are available and more during this free webinar.

The Great Lakes ADA Center is hosting the “COVID-19 and Return to Work” webinar at 1 p.m. Aug. 13.

The free event is part of the ADA Audio Conference Series, which provides in-depth information on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Featured speakers are Barry Taylor and Rachel Weisberg, Equip for Equality and the Illinois ADA Project.

COVID-19 has raised many questions, including how it will impact the workplace. In this webinar, numerous issues will be discussed, including:

  • Is COVID-19 a disability under the ADA?
  • What accommodations are available for people with disabilities when returning to work?
  • What if a person cannot wear a face covering due to a disability?
  • Other than the ADA, what other laws are relevant for people with disabilities and their family members?

This webinar will address these issues and more, as well as answer your questions about COVID-19 in the context of employment.

Visit the webinar registration webpage to sign up. (If new to the program, you will need to establish an account prior to registering.)

This session will be delivered via ZOOM Webinar Platform. The session will have real-time captioning and a sign language interpreter.
