A free webinar for anyone who wants to learn more about autism and how to be a friend to someone who learns differently

The Chicago Autism Network is hosting “Autism Acceptance: How to Be a Friend to Someone With Autism” on April 12 from 7 to 8 p.m.

April is Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month.

Presenter Erica Smith has specialized in outreach in her community to spread awareness and acceptance of autism.

Erica will help participants of all ages learn:

• What it means to be neurodiverse
• How people with autism learn and develop differently
• How to be a friend to someone who has autism

Smith is the clinic director for Caravel Autism Health located in Chicago. She has her master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
