Family Matters Parent Training & Information Center is hosting the “Advocating for Approrpirate Transition Assessments and Services” webinar at 12 p.m. May 12.
Mike Shea from Equip for Equality will present this discussion of transition assessments, goals and services, including real-life case study examples.
Participants will also be introduced to Equip for Equality’s (EFE’s) online transition module by which they answer questions and choose from lists of example assessments to create a template transition plan for discussion at an IEP meeting.
Objectives:
- Know the required ingredients of a transition plan.
- Learn about available transition assessments and services.
- Use the online transition module to generate a document helpful for transition planning with the IEP team.
