A free webinar about Social Security benefits and Illinois ABLE Accounts for people with disabilities, their family members, disability service organizations and other professionals

Join the ABLE Savings Plans Network (ASPN) and ABLE Today on Zoom for “ABLE Accounts and Social Security Benefits: Representative Payees, Reporting and More” on April 4 from 12 to 1 p.m.

Speakers from the Social Security Administration (SSA) and Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) will provide information about SSA benefits, ABLE accounts, the role of the representative payee and more.

Information will include:

  • An overview of ABLE accounts
  • Social Security Disability Benefits (SSI, SSDI, CDB, DWB) and ABLE accounts
  • Income/asset tests and ABLE accounts
  • Reporting ABLE information to SSA
  • Representative payees managing ABLE accounts
  • Resources on SSA benefits and ABLE accounts.
