Webinar – “A Day of Benefits and Planning”
A free seminar on important benefits and planning information for individuals with developmental disabilities
Connect to Community‘s Friday Forum Seminars is hosting “A Day of Benefits and Planning” via Zoom on Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This event will address important topics for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, including:
- Government benefits
- Special needs trusts
- ABLE accounts
- Guardianship and more
The event is free. Advance registration is required by Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Educational Outreach events are designed to provide families, self-advocates, educators, and service providers with useful information related to the transition process as well as life in the community after educational entitlements end. Events are funded in part by community funding from Palatine Township.
