Virtual Workshop – “Understanding Autism”

A free virtual workshop for families and professionals focusing on understanding autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intervention options and resources

Join the Autism Program at Easterseals Serving Chicagoland and Greater Rockford and The Autism Program (TAP) of Illinois for “Understanding Autism” on March 21 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Program Manager for the Autism Program at Easterseals Lori Davie will help participants gain a better understanding of autism, including:

• The growing diagnosis of ASD
• Recognizing ASD characteristics and ways it may present
• Misinterpreting characteristics as adverse or negative behaviors
• Possible interventions

Lori will also include information on local services and community resources that may be available.
