A free, virtual workshop for parents who have a child with autism and seek strategies on how to toilet train their child
Chicago Autism Network is hosting “A Rapid Method of Toilet Training Children with Autism” on July 21 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Dr. Carly Lapin, Ph.D., BCBA-D, who is the director of outreach for The Place for Children with Autism, will explain a rapid method of toilet training children with autism. Using video models and specific instructions, she will help participants understand the process and be prepared to conduct the intervention on their own.
Carly obtained her Ph.D. in behavior analysis and has conducted research on toilet training and autism using the specific method that will be discussed at the workshop.
