Virtual Walk & Run Challenge for Children Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Chicago
Event for all Chicago elementary school-age children who are deaf or hard of hearing
The Chicago Park District’s Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Program invites all elementary school children (kindergarten through eighth grade) who are deaf or hard of hearing and live in the city of Chicago to join their virtual walk/run challenge.
The race beings May 3 and continues through May 28. Each student-athlete will receive a link to Google Docs to submit information including run/walk scores, a map to keep track of their mileage and a participation medal.
The deadline to register is April 21.
