A free, two-week virtual experience for middle and high school students who want to learn coding skills

CSD Learns and Deaf Kids Code is hosting a “Deaf Kids Code Bootcamp” town hall meeting on March 7 from 6 to 7 p.m.

The virtual town hall meetings are for educators, caregivers, and middle and high school students who want to learn more about this free, two-week virtual camp.

Deaf Kids Code Bootcamp is a free, self-paced coding course that allows students to explore and showcase their coding skills. In this cutting-edge online curriculum, students will learn alongside their peers from engaging deaf and hard-of-hearing mentors.

The town hall meetings will provide:

  • A sneak peek of the coding course in Canvas
  • Information about the registration process
  • An opportunity to ask questions

A town hall meeting will also take place on March 29  from 6 to 7 p.m.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters and live captioning will be available for each meeting.

See the coding boot camp flyer for more details.

Register for either town hall meeting online.
