Join The Arc of Illinois 72nd Annual Convention virtually for “Turning Silver Linings Into Golden Opportunities” on April 13 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and April 14 from 8 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
The Arc of Illinois’ 72nd Annual Convention will be focusing on golden opportunities for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the COVID-19 era.
The convention features a new online format and an array of keynote presentations and session topics including:
- Resiliency, advocacy and parenting
- Guardianship, alternatives and the new Supported Decision-Making Act
- Learning and teaching about relationships and sexual self-advocacy
- Entrepreneurship and being your own boss
- Self-advocacy for technology in grades K-12
- Increasing social skills preparedness in high school and beyond
- Diversity within disabilities and a personal account of living with autism

Registered participants will have a choice of three breakout sessions at each time slot and access to all the recordings.
The convention also includes an art exhibit, silent auction, exhibitor hall and awards.
