Virtual “Teen Talks” for Young People with Food Allergies
A virtual monthly meetup for young people with food allergies to connect, share experiences and have fun
Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) will host “Teen Talk” on Feb. 15 from 4 to 5 p.m. Talks take place monthly on Zoom.
“Teen Talks” provide a safe space for pre-teens, teens and young adults between 11 and 22 years of age to connect and learn.
Meet young people with food allergies from all over the country and enjoy celebrating a huge milestone – FARE’s 50th Teen Talk!
Join facilitator Melissa Engel, PhD, and FARE Teen Advisory Group members for activities, including:
- Participating in large group and smaller breakout room discussions
- Sharing experiences
- Laughing and having fun!
The event is also open to siblings and friends (ages 11 to 22).
Register for “Teen Talks” and learn more about the host. You must register to attend. Eligible participants will receive the Zoom link by the evening on Feb. 14.
