Virtual – “Tech for Teens Club: Code Your Own Website”
Free virtual technology club introducing teens with disabilities to the fundamentals of coding for the internet
Join PACER Center on Zoom for “Tech for Teens Club: Code Your Own Website” on Sept. 24 from 5 to 6 p.m.
This virtual workshop will introduce teens with disabilities to to the basics of coding for the internet with HTML and CSS:
- HTML is short for HyperText Markup Language.
- Cascading style sheets is the coding language used to describe the presentation of a document written in HTML.
Participants will:
- Create their own unique website
- Publish it using a free online tool at Glitch.com
- Experiment with coding
- See their coding results online in real time
Students of all abilities are encouraged to attend.
