Virtual Support Group for Parents of Adult Children Living With Hydrocephalus and IDD

An online hydrocephalus support group of parents supporting parents of adult children with hydrocephalus and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)

The Hydrocephalus Association invites all parents of adults living with hydrocephalus and intellectual and developmental disabilities to join this virtual meeting via Zoom on Sept. 22 from 6 – 7:30 pm.

There are many ways and degrees that hydrocephalus affects the lives of loved ones.  For parents supporting children who are adults with IDD, physical disability and/or learning challenges, the road can be challenging and lonely.

Questions of managing their care, self-advocacy, independent living and finding success in the workforce all loom large.

Join Fab HydroMoms, Jackie and Amanda, and other parents on a similar journey for connection and discussion. The hosts encourage participants to join by video so that everyone can “be in the room together” and not feel alone.
