Virtual Illinois School for the Visually Impaired 2022 Opening Doors Program
A free series of virtual and in-person events for parents, guardians and their children with visual impairment
Join the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI) virtually for “Opening Doors 2022” on June 6 to 9 via Zoom. A program will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. each evening.
Opening Doors is for Illinois parents, guardians and their children with visual impairments and additional disabilities who are 5 years old or younger.
Participants will have an opportunity to meet others, gather information specific to a particular need and learn about resources on issues related to young children with visual impairments. Topics for the virtual sessions may include:
- Activities of daily living
- Orientation and mobility
- Expanded core curriculum
Register online for Opening Doors 2022. Registration is required by May 15.
