A free, virtual conference for families, educators and students featuring speakers and resources focusing on education and empowering students of all abilities
Join Springfield Public Schools and Springfield Parents for Students with Disabilities (SPSD) for the virtual “Empower All Abilities Conference 2022” on Feb. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Keynote speaker Marvin Merriweather will kick off the day by discussing our emotional responses to stress and trauma and how emotional wounds can impact our relationships.
Physicians, psychologists, attorneys, advocates, and other professionals will present information targeting the needs of family members, educators and students. Conference breakout session topics include:

- Transition to adulthood
- Special education
- Advocacy
- Inclusion
- Financial planning
