The Arc of Illinois Family to Family Health Information Center and Family Voices are hosting the “Illinois Health Care Coverage Options and Benefits Information for People With Disabilities” conference on Sept. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Join experts from the Department of Human Services, Social Security Administration, Illinois Respite Coalition, Illinois Collaboration on Youth (ICOY), Family Voices and others as they explain Illinois health care coverage options and benefits, including:
- Obtaining Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for children and youth with special healthcare needs (CYSHCN)
- Eligibility for adults with disabilities for SSI and Supplemental Security Disability Income (SSDI)
- Family caregiver support
- Child behavioral health
- Telehealth
- Action steps for families
