Virtual Camp Odayin’s Hearts@Home

Virtual camp for children with heart disease in grades 1-11 to connect with other young people who may share similar health, emotional and social concerns

Camp Odayin’s Hearts@Home will be held via Zoom on Aug. 19-20.

Hearts@Home Campers will spend four to five hours online in big and small groups participating in activities and connecting with other young people who may share similar interests and concerns.

Optional self-guided and family-friendly activities are also provided in between sessions.

Virtual camp is hosted by trained camp counselors, nurses and Odayin leadership staff who are committed to creating a safe space where campers, staff and volunteers feel welcomed, respected and valued.

All campers will receive a mailed “camp in a box,” which includes Odayin gear, themed costume accessories, activity supplies and more.

Campers are expected to attend each online meet-up for both days, one on Friday evening and three on Saturday, keep their video on, and stay for the entire segment. Campers are encouraged to register only if their schedule is cleared for the entire virtual camp session.

There is a $25 registration fee for Hearts@Home. A $0-$900 sliding payment scale ensures that cost is not a barrier to joining and allows families to pay more if they can to help cover costs.
