Virtual American Sign Language Classes

Free, virtual classes for anyone who wants to learn the basics of American Sign Language (ASL)

The Oklahoma School for the Deaf (OSD) is hosting ASL Community Classes. The eight-week classes (ASL I and ASL II) run from Sept. 12. to Oct. 31.

These classes are basic courses in conversational American Sign Language taught by OSD’s ASL specialist.

The classes are geared for all ages but children may need an adult to help guide them and keep their attention.

The non-credit lessons are pre-recorded. Participants may watch each lesson at their convenience and access the recordings until the spring session begins.

Registration is required by Sept. 9.
