Virtual American Sign Language Classes – Northside Chicago

Class for parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing

The Chicago Park District is offering virtual American Sign Language classes from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 5 to Mar. 18 (no classes on Feb. 9 and Feb 11).

The cost of the class is $30.

You can register online at www.chicagoparkdistrict.com.  For ASL I for beginners on Tuesday evenings, use code #324429. For ASL II for advanced on Thursday evenings, use code #324435.

The recommended course book is “A Basic Course in American Sign Language,” ISBN #0-932666-42-6.  The book is available to purchase at Horner Park for $38.95.
