Virtual – Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops for Teens
Free virtual educational and activity based group for teens ages 12 and up who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition
Advocate Children’s Hospital will host a virtual “Sibshops for Teens” meeting on June 14 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Sibshops are a program of the National Sibling Support Project. Organizations nationwide run Sibshops to recognize and address the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of siblings of people with developmental, health and mental health concerns.
Advocate Children’s Hospital Teen Sibshops offer peer support, and fun educational and activities for teens who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition.
Teens ages 12 and up will enjoy:
- Fun activities
- Games
- Discussions about other siblings about their common experiences, joys, and concerns
The Sibshops session is free and will be on Zoom.
See the Advocate Children’s Hospital Teen Sibshops flyer for more details and an application.
