Virtual – Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops for Children
Free, virtual educational and activity-based group for children ages 6 to 11 who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition
Advocate Children’s Hospital will host a virtual “Sibshops” on Feb. 22 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Sibshops are a program of the National Sibling Support Project. Organizations nationwide run Sibshops to recognize and address the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of siblings of people with developmental, health and mental health concerns.
Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops offer peer support and fun educational activities for children who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition.
Siblings ages 6 to 11 will enjoy:
- Games
- Discussions with other siblings about their common experiences, joys and concerns
Sibshops will meet on Zoom. The session is free.

Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops will be in-person from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m on:
- March 1 in Oak Lawn
- March 15 in Chicago
- March 29 in Park Ridge
