Trunk or Treat at Atwood Center in Rockford
Fun family event featuring owls, games and exploring how animals adapt to the dark
Join the Rockford Park District‘s Atwood Center staff for trunk or treat festivities on Oct. 26 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Learn about our nocturnal neighbors who come out at night. See how owls and other animals adapt to the dark and how you can, too!
There won’t be any tricks or frights, just delight exploring:
- Tin Can Toss, Spin the Wheel and Duck Pond carnival-style games
- Sensory games such as memory smell test and mystery touch boxes
- The birds of prey tour showing how nocturnal animals adapt to the dark
The cost is $5 for for Rockford Park District residents and non-residents ages 2 to 17. Parents and children under age 2 are free.
This outdoor event will run rain or shine. Participants should wear closed-toed and closed-heeled shoes.
