Touch-A-Truck & Treat in Palos Heights

Free event provides a sensory-friendly atmosphere for youth with special needs.

Children are invited to dress in a Halloween costume and explore trucks, tractors, heavy equipment, emergency vehicles and more on Oct. 25 at Palos Pool.

From 5 to 5:45 p.m., the vehicles will not use sirens, lights or loud noises to provide a sensory-friendly atmosphere.

Children will receive a Halloween treat from each vehicle.
