Timber Pointe Outdoor Center’s Family Weekend Retreat in Hudson, IL

Easterseals Timber Pointe Outdoor Center (TPOC) is hosting its Spring Family Weekend Retreat from April 8 – 10. Check-in is on Friday at 6 p.m. Check-out is on Sunday at 11 a.m.
Craving a chance to get away, reconnect as a family, and experience both relaxation and adventure without compromising your family’s health and safety?
Family Retreats are designed to give families who have a child with a disability or challenging illness a renewing and refreshing break enjoying TPOC’s beautiful 170-acre property on Lake Bloomington.
The two-night experience includes:
- A private, climate-controlled and wheelchair accessible cabin
- Five family-friendly meals prepared by TPOC staff
- A wide variety of exciting activities that are adaptive to all ages and abilities
- Periods of optional childcare/respite care provided by one of our well-trained, compassionate staff members
TPOC provides camp life and outdoor experiences for families and their kids whose health issues make these activities often seem impossible, giving them the chance to develop independence and confidence.
The cost is $150 per cabin plus $60 per person (ages 3+) for programming and meals. Financial assistance is available.
