The COMPASS Program Webinar Series
A free, 10-week virtual program for parents and professionals providing training, resources and practical guidance for supporting children with disabilities
Join Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center (FMPTIC) for the COMPASS Program. This is a 10-week training designed to empower parents, caregivers and professionals to support children with disabilities. The program will begin on Jan. 29 at 12 p.m.
The COMPASS Program will provide resources and practical guidance on navigating:
- Special education systems
- Understanding advocacy strategies
- Fostering collaboration between families and schools
To gain the most from the program, participants must be willing and commit to:
- Watch an uploaded session each week
- Complete a pre-test and post-test
- Take a weekly quiz to assess understanding
Participants should also be comfortable with using Google Classroom to access materials, submit assignments and track progress.
To start the registration process, please complete the COMPASS Program Google Form. A Family Matters PTIC team member will reach out with more information.
