TechGirlz at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf in New York
A camp for girls who are interested in learning about science and technology, in grades 7, 8 or 9 and who are deaf or hard of hearing
The National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) is hosting TechGirlz from July 23 to 28. The camp is held at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf on the Rochester Institute of Technology campus in Rochester, New York.
TechGirlz is a week-long summer camp for deaf or hard-of-hearing girls entering grades 7, 8, or 9 who are interested in science, technology, engineering and math. Camp classes are taught in English and in sign language.
Campers will use state-of-the-art technology to create a high-tech gadget to take home, conduct laboratory experiments and more.

The cost is $700, which includes housing in a residence hall and food for the week. Limited financial assistance is available based on financial need.

If you have previously attended TechGirlz, you are not eligible to attend again.
