T.O.U.C.H. Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Symposium
Symposium will educate participants about issues affecting those with congenital heart defects.
The Organization for Understanding Congenital Hearts (T.O.U.C.H.) and the Congenital Heart Center at Children’s Hospital of Illinois are hosting this symposium for patients 12 years and older, parents, caregivers and families affected by congenital heart defects (CHD). The event will take place at the Jump Trading Simulation & Education Center in Peoria.
The symposium will provide education about issues that affect individuals of all ages living with CHD, including clinical updates, neurodevelopmental issues, genetics in CHD, exercise and transitioning to adult CHD care.
