Mount Vernon Baptist Temple is hosting “Superhero Special Needs Saturday” on Oct, 29 from 12 to 3 p.m.

Dress up as your favorite superhero and head to Mount Vernon Baptist Temple, 817 Woodland Drive, in Mount Vernon.

This free, superhero event is for children and adults with disabilities and their families. The fun will include:

  • A costume contest
  • A petting zoo and hayrides
  • Games and giveaways
  • Food
