Springfield Park District Hosts Free Swim and “Movies in the Park!”

Free swimming and a movie for individuals of all ages and abilities in Springfield

Join the Springfield Park District for a free swim and “Movies in the Park!” on Aug. 4.  Individuals can enjoy:

• Swimming at Veterans Memorial Pool from 5 to 7 p.m.
• Watching “Encanto” at Gietl Park, 1900 Stanhope Road, from 8 to 10 p.m.

The movie will begin at sunset. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on.

You don’t need to register to attend. All activities are free.

Movies in the Park will wrap up the summer season with “Sing 2” on Aug. 25 at Henson Robinson Zoo.
