A free, virtual workshop for parents and caregivers of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities on understanding Prioritization of Urgent Need for Services (PUNS) and the options

Join The Arc of the Quad Cities Area for their “Spring Parent Learning Series: What is PUNS and What are My Options?” via Zoom on May 18 from 7 to 8 p.m.

PUNS stands for Prioritization of Urgent Need for Services, but what does that mean for you and what services are offered?

Presenters Matt Wells and Ranee Stufflebeem of Prairieland Service Coordination Inc. (PSCI) and Paula Lotz of The Arc of the Quad Cities will walk participants through the various aspect of PUNS, including:

  • Understanding PUNS
  • Which services you may qualify for
  • How to determine the options that best fit your family’s needs

PSCI is an independent service coordination agency (ISC) providing conflict-free case management to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout their lifespan. Prairieland supports and assists individuals and families by identifying services, linking the individual to the services, and providing individual service planning, coordination, evaluation and advocacy.

There is no cost for this workshop. Visit The Arc of the Quad Cities Area website for more information about the Spring Parent Learning Series.
