Special Needs Playdate in Chicago
All-inclusive day of fun for children and families.
Chicago Parent Magazine’s Special Needs Playdate features acoustic musicians and entertainers, bounce houses, games, a quiet room and activities for kids with special needs and their siblings. Parents will have the opportunity to learn valuable information about therapies, camps, schools, hospital programs and more.
UIC Division of Specialized Care for Children staff will be available to speak with parents about how we can support their family through their child’s journey with a medical condition and develop a personalized plan of care.
A to Z Mobility will also be on site offering free minor repairs and adjustments for most wheelchairs.
The cost is $5 for children ages 3 through 14. Youth under 2 and adults are free.
Click on the playdate registration page for more information and to purchase tickets.
