Join Family Matters Parent Training and Resource Information Center for this four-part “Understanding Dispute Resolution” webinar series on Zoom.
Family Matters educational support coaches will cover conflict resolution options in the special education process. Sessions will feature guest speakers from Equip for Equality, the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission and the Illinois State Board of Education.
Session 2 will cover “Understanding Dispute Resolution and Procedural Safeguards” on Sept. 13 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Presenter Laura Hart from the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission will discuss:
- Prior written notice
- Consents
- Dispute resolution options
