Southern Illinois Wellness Mission in Carbondale

A free opportunity to receive basic medical, vision and dental services

The U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Southern Illinois Wellness Mission is providing basic healthcare services from July 22 to 31.

The clinic will be held at Carbondale City Hall, 200 S. Illinois Ave., in Carbondale on:

• July 22 from 1 to 6 p.m.
• July 23 – 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• July 31  from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dental services will only be available half of the day.

IRT is a military training opportunity that increases deployment readiness and provides American communities with key services (health care, construction, transportation and cybersecurity) and lasting benefits.

The Southern Illinois Wellness Mission will offer:

• Basic medical and wellness exams
• Dental exams
• Fillings and extractions
• Vision exams and single vision glasses

Services are provided at no cost to patients on a first-come, first-served basis.
