South of I-70 Conference for Parents of Children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Free event provides opportunity to network and gain resources.
Families who live south of Interstate 70 are invited to attend the Feb. 23 Conference for Parents of Children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Marion.
The conference will address the following topics:
- Transition After High School: What’s Next?
- Accommodations and Modifications in the School Setting
- Siblings: All About Siblings
- Educating the WHOLE Child: A Parent’s Perspective
Financial assistance may be available to help with travel, lodging and/or childcare costs.
No childcare is provided. Children age 15 and older are welcome to participate in the conference.
