Sibling Workshop at Lowell Park Nature Center
A day of adventure, fun activities and peer support for siblings of children with special needs
Easter Seals serving Chicagoland and greater Rockford is hosting a Sibling Workshop, “Adventure Awaits! Exploring the Great Outdoors . . .”, on Sept. 25 from 10 a.m – 2 p.m.
This is a day of fun, educational activities and peer support for the siblings of children with special needs.
Siblings between the ages of 5 to 15 are welcome to join this adventure-themed day that includes:
- Meet and greet
- Arts and crafts
- Games
- Outdoor activities (weather permitting)
Lunch will be served. Activities include painting, so please dress accordingly.
Registration is required by Wednesday, Sept. 22, and is limited to eight kids. The event will be held rain or shine.

COVID 19 guidelines will be followed (face masks, social distancing, sanitizing between activities, hand sanitizer for use between activities). Participants will be screened prior to joining the group.
