Sibling Leadership Network Parent Information Session
Virtual parent workshop about siblings of children with disabilities.
Do you have a child with disabilities and a typically developing child? Do you ever wonder about your typically developing child’s experience as a sibling? Do you worry about how to best support them?
Join the Sibling Leadership Network and Supporting Illinois Brothers and Sisters (S.I.B.S.) for a parent workshop about siblings of children with disabilities at 5 p.m. June 16.
Emily Holl, director of the Sibling Support Project, will discuss the needs, concerns and opportunities that siblings of people with disabilities frequently experience. She will also discuss how Sibshops and other practical strategies can support them.
This session is free and parents are encouraged to learn, listen and ask questions.
Visit the Parent Information Session web page to register.
If you are unable to attend on June 16, another Parent Information Session is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 18.
